AJCU-EAO and JCEAO Convenes Consultation Meeting with Campus Ministers

The AJCU-EAO under the chairmanship of Fr. Joel E. Tabora, S.J. and the JCEAO under Fr. Adolfo Nicolas, S.J. conducted a consultation meeting with the Campus Ministers of the Ateneo de Naga, Ateneo de Manila as well as two Jesuit campus ministers from Thailand.  In their meeting last November 7, 2007 at the San Jose Seminary, Ateneo de Manila University, they discussed the networking and different linkages between and among the campus ministers of the different Jesuit and non-Jesuit schools.

Present in the meeting were Fr. Adolfo Nicolas, S.J., President, JCEAO; Fr. Joel Tabora, S.J., Chair, AJCU-EAO; Fr. Vinay Boon lue, S.J., Thailand; Fr. Maharsono Probho, S.J. Bankok; Ms. Eda Castillo Lo, AdMU Collegiate Campus Ministry; Ms. Suzanne Alvarez, AdMU HS Campus Ministry; Mr. Ringo Badilla, AdNU College Campus Ministry;
Mr. Freddie Pandes, AdNU, HS Campus Ministry;Bro. Jomari Manzano, S.J., AdMU HS Campus Ministry; Fr. Bobby Buenconsejo, S.J., ADMU Collegiat Campus Ministry.

They shared and presented their ministry programs, priorities and concerns.  A question on the networking efforts of the different campus ministries with the assistancy and how they can link with each other have been raised.  It was agreed that a group of campus ministers should be organized and the Ateneo de Manila campus ministry under Fr. Bobby Buenconsejo, S.J. would lead in organizing this. It was also agreed that they would meet before August 2008 so that it would be welcomed to the next AJCU-EAO meeting.
