SLP 2010: Cambodia

It’s that time of the year again where students and faculty from various Jesuit colleges and universities get together to celebrate cultural diversity, spirituality, and socio-environmental immersion. This year, Sophia University of Japan will host the program in Siem Reap Cambodia this 8-21 August 2010 under the theme:  Preserving Culture, A Way for Preserving Identity.

This year, the number of participants are:
  Sophia University                        =17 students, 9 faculty
  Elisabeth University of Music      =3 students, 1 faculty
  Sogang University                       =4 students, 1 faculty
  Sanata Dharma University          =7 students, 1 faculty
  Ateneo de Manila University        =1 student
  Ateneo de Naga University          =3 students
  Ateneo de Davao University        =1 student, 1 faculty

As part of the program, the students will be exposed to the various historical areas in Siem Reap, learn more about the social and environment issues, and of course, get to know their fellow participants better through reflection and special activities.
