AJCU-EAO Holds
International Officer’s Meeting

Issues and Resolutions raised during the International Officer’s Meeting
last December 6-8, 2007
at the Ateneo de Manila University.
The Resolutions are subject to the confirmation
of the AJCU-EAO members in its
Annual General Assembly on August 2008.

The AJCU-EAO member schools held an International Officer’s Meeting last December 6-8, 2007 in Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.  The meeting was hosted by Ateneo de Manila University in cooperation with Sogang University from Korea.  All AJCU-EAO member schools were represented by their respective International Directors/Officers as follows: 

  • ADNU: 
    Ms. Maria Liway Torte, Director for Institute of International Exchange
  • ADMU:
    Dr. Antonette Palma-Angeles, VP for Academics
    Mr. Glenn De Leon, Assistant to the AVP
  • ADZU:
    Dr. Rebecca V. Fernandez, Senior Dean of the Colleges
  • ADDU:
    Mr. Jeremy Eliab, Assistant to the President
  • Xavier:
    Dr. Dulce Dawang, Director, Office of International Cooperation & Networking

PowerPoint presentations of their school’s International Programs were given:  ADNU, ADMU, ADZU, ADDU, Fu Jen, Sophia, EUM, Sogang, ATMI, Sanata Dharma

The meeting brought about fruitful discussions on some common issues such as student mobility, service learning programs, faculty mobility, Christian identity of universities, strengthening Catholic-Muslim dialogue and their respective formation and action plans.
